The Ant and the Dove*

One summer day, a thirsty little ant went to the river to drink. As he bent down for a mouthful of refreshing water, a strong wind caught him off balance and.. SPLASH! He fell down into the river and was caught by the current. So he yelled… ‘HELP! HELP!!!”

Luckily, a dove was flying over the river and heard the ant’s cry for help. She plucked a leaf off a nearby tree and dropped it. The ant climbed on the leaf and was safely brought to the bank of the river.
Later, as the busy ant was resting after a long and tiring work, he saw a hunter with a net ready to ensnare the clueless dove perched on a tree branch. It was his friend, the dove, who helped him earlier.

He ran towards the hunter as fast as he could and sunk his teeth into the hunter’s foot and yelled ‘FLY DOVE! FLY!!!’

The dove, finally aware of the danger that should’ve befallen her if not for the ant, flew away as she said.. ‘Thank you!’

The Crocodile Bridge

Rabbit has two problems.

The first is that his friend lives in an island and he needs to cross a river in order to get there from his house in the mainland. The second is that, the river is inhabited by ferocious crocodiles.

Then he thought of something… He stood on top of the biggest rock he could find and announced that the king was inviting all of them to a grand ball. The crocodiles were flattered to be invited by the king.

Then, the rabbit added that the king ordered him to count all the crocodiles so that he can prepare enough food for them. So, the rabbit asked them to form a line and so they did.

The rabbit started counting as he stepped on each and every crocodile as he counted until he reached the island where his friend lives.
