Sad Truth

It’s been a long time since my father’s death, but, just like other people who were touched by the big C one way or another, I do believe my siblings and I still have this kind of big C scare looming around our lives. And why not? Having not just one but three cancer victims is not a joke, it actually makes our predisposition to this deadly disease higher than others’.
The least we can do, though, is to take all necessary precautions like avoiding vices. Smoking for one increases the risk of lung cancer, drinking alcoholic beverages, I believe, may lead to liver cancer while inhaling asbestos dust and fiber may lead to Mesothelioma.
We only live once. No matter how difficult life is, we have moral obligations to our loved ones to take good care of ourselves..
