Valentine Date

The pressure is on for the search for the most eligible Valentine date. Wow! Good thing I’m a married woman. I don’t have to rack my brains for some ways to entice any one to take me out on Valentine’s day.
Well, why is it big deal? Why is there a pressure? Why is February 14 not as ordinary as any other day on the calendar? And the more difficult part is not simply getting a date, you also have to consider how your date looks like, otherwise, you’ll end up being the object of ridicule among your friends. Is your date the awesome Indiana Jones with his Fedora hat incarnate? Or some loser with a long record of job hopping who couldn’t even afford a decent haircut?
Call me superficial, but better be wise than sorry..
