So, the love month has come. Whether we like it or not, we are affected by the Valentine fever. Young and old alike are hooked by romantic films and are touched by love songs being played over the radio.

We are in love with the idea of love. And this is heightened by things associated with romance like heart shaped chocolates, red balloons and New York flowers. But of all the superficial beliefs about Valentine’s day, the most absurd for me is the idea that only those unmarried individuals are supposed to celebrate it. It’s as if romantic love stops when a couple get married.

There are different kinds of love, physical love felt for the opposite sex, love of mother to her children, love for a friend, love for work. Whatever kind of love you feel, it calls for a celebration this Valentine’s day…
