Getting Cold

Friday is my husband’s day-off in the Middle East, so we normally chat on that day and last Friday was no exemption. We talked about Candid’s enrollment, so I gave him the details on how it went. He was glad to know that our eldest will no longer live in a boarding house as she only has 4 days of school and her class is until 3pm, which means she can still make it home early.
After asking about the 2 younger kids, we talked about the movies that he was downloading for me, so, I asked him to look for ‘Empire of the Sun’ and ‘Oliver Twist’ and so he did. Then, he suddenly mentioned about the weather getting cold in Saudi. So, being as protective as ever, I reminded him to wear a nice jacket, a coogi if possible. So, he told he I’m overreacting, to that I answered, ‘better safe than sorry,’ right?
