Hard means difficult or it could be the opposite of soft.

Example

The final examination was hard.

His wooden bed was hard.

Hardly means almost not

Example

They hardly have eaten something.

Advice vs Advise

Advice is a  noun

Example

Our parents give me sensible advice.

Advise is an action word

Example

Our parents advise us against the evil of drugs.
